Home care service
Our home care service covers different services, which can range from companionship visits to complex care needs. We provide a range of personal care and essential domestic support services for vulnerable people living in their own homes who may be unable to carry out these tasks for themselves.
While the exact nature of service provided to each service user will vary and tailored to their needs, the following are examples of the services that are offered:
- Assistance with dressing and grooming
- Help with personal cleanliness (washing, bathing and showering)
- Assisting with getting in and out of bed
- Preparation of meals and drinks
- Support with continence care
- Help and assistance with general mobility needs
- Prompting or administration of medication
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, washing, ironing, hovering, bed making and changing
- Escorting or accompanying within the community to day centres, doctors’ surgery, opticians, shops
- Providing company and companionship
- Providing care to cover for family or carer to take a break
Our hours of this service can range from 30 minutes per visit to 24 hours.
Live-in care
Our live-in care service provides you with a fully trained care support worker to live with you in your own home who will support you with your specific needs to keep you comfortable and independent at home.
Our carers will provide you with personal care, assist with medication, help with household chores and getting out and about. They will also provide companionship and emotional support.
End of life
This service is provided to a person nearing the end of their life or in the advanced stage of a terminal illness. Our carers are highly trained and will offer support in different areas including physical comfort, mental and emotional needs, spiritual issues, and practical tasks.
As we are part of a multi-disciplinary team, we work with the palliative care team from the hospice and district nurses to provide support in areas like pain management and continence care.To ensure that individual’s preferences and values for end-of-life care are honoured, our team, together with family and other healthcare professionals, draft an advance health care plan.
Night care
Our dedicated team is available 24/7 to support in every area of need. Our night care service is available and offered to clients who have needs during the night. We provide a waking night service or sleeping night service.
With the sleeping night service, our carers will sleep at the client’s property and will be on hand if required. With the waking night service, the care professional will be on duty throughout the night. This support is provided when a client wakes up several times. The carer will be there on your side for the duration of the night.
